Increased sales and dwell time as result of new in-store music

Having decided not to play music in their stores anymore due to high costs of music licences, the UK department store chain Beales reconsidered their options as they recognised that the stores lacked ambiance without any overhead music. Beales were impressed with the quality of music offered by FreedomMusic and decided to go for a licence free music option that is on brand and provides substantial savings to the company.

Working with music profiling specialists FreedomMusic on a creative workshop, the end result was a networked music solution and seasonal playlists according to the store’s requirements.
